The Royal Australian Mint has partnered with the City of Sydney in a 10 years series to capture this experience on a unique 99.9% fine silver proof coin.
The colour of the hologram will change to show the bursts of light appearing over the popular Australian landmark, Sydney Harbour Bridge, replicating the stunning fireworks.
Also featured on the coin, will be the special symbol that is revealed at midnight on New Year’s Eve. Each year this theme will change. This year the theme is Shine, celebrating Sydney as a city where the sun, water and the people shine.
Famous Australian artist, Reg Mombasa, has developed the design for the celebrations, which will be featured on the packaging.
The coin will be presented in a capsule and housed in a leatherette presentation case and printer outer box.
