2020 $1 The Simpsons - Bart Simpson 1oz Silver Coin in Card
First introduced in 1987, the Simpsons family originally appeared in 30-second segments on The Tracey Ullman Show. Two years later, The Simpsons premiered as a half-hour series and instantly became a worldwide pop-culture phenomenon, now seen in 60 countries in 20 languages.
In 2018, The Simpsons reached an incredible milestone becoming the longest-running prime time scripted show in television history.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,000 of the Bart Simpson 2020 1oz Silver Coins in card packaging, from a maximum mintage of 25,000.
The coin's reverse features a representation of Bart Simpson riding his skateboard in front of the Simpson's family house. The design also includes Matt Groening's signature, and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.
The coin's obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, the weight and fineness, and the 2020 year-date.
The Bart Simpson 2020 1oz Silver Coin is housed in a presentation card.
