A very special Sovereign – NEW REVERSE!
The 2022 Sovereign, struck from 7.98g of pure 916.7% gold, honours a remarkable event –the Platinum Jubilee of the remarkable reign of Queen Elizabeth II. This Sovereign also makes numismatic history! After a lengthy tenure on the Sovereign’s reverse, Pistrucci’s St George and the Dragon is replaced with a new Royal Coat of Arms by heraldic artist Timothy Noad!
