Symbolizing its formidable hunting prowess, the design emphasizes the bird's piercing, highly effective eyes, its powerful hooked beak, and the intricate detailing of its feathers.
As well as the inscription 'AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE' and The Perth Mint's P mintmark, the reverse also includes the coin's weight, fineness and its 2026 year-date,
