The 2006 Royal Australian Mint eight coin uncirculated mint set showcases Australian circulating coin designs and is minted in an uncirculated finish.
The mint set celebrates 40 years of Australian decimal currency and the Royal Australian Mint has released an eight coin mint set: Two dollars, One dollar, Fifty cents, Twenty cents, Ten cents, Five cents, Two cents and One cent pieces
The One cent and Two cents - bronze coins are featured in the 2006 mint set for the first time since 1991 when they were removed from Australian circulating coins. The designs on the 2006 coins are the original 1966 designs representing the Australian Fauna and celebrate the 40 years of Australian decimal currency.
The 2006 One cent and Two cent peices were not released for general circulation and can only be obtained in the 2006 mint sets
