2014 AFL Premiers 'Hawthorn' - Limited Edition $1 PNC

The 2014 Toyota AFL Grand Final took place between Hawthorn and the Sydney Swan at the MCG on a balmy spring day before an enthusiastic crowd of 99,454 fans.

Many pundits, who favoured the Swans to win, were not disappointed when the team kicked two of the opening three goals of the game led by six points at the 13-minute mark. But the Hawks rose to the challenge and completely dominated the rest of the game, swopping to victory with 21.11 (137) to 11.8 (74).

this impressive win is Hawthorn's 12th Premiership and only the second back-to-back victory for the club.

The Norm Smith Medal for the best player on the ground was won by hawthorn Captain Luke Hodge, one of only three players in the history of the game to have won the medal twice.
