2019 Great Aussie Coin Hunt 'Neighbours' $1 PNC

A television institution, Neighbours had its first Australian broadcast on 18 March 2985. Thirty-four years and 8,300 episodes later, it has earned is place in the history books as Australia's longest running and most successful drama.

The brainchild of television pioneers Reg Grundy and Reg Watson, and drawing on Watson's experience of growing up in suburbia, the nightly drama was created for both Australian and UK audiences. Ramsay Street has since become one of Australia's most recognisable addresses internationally.

The coin's reverse features the N Coin from the Great Aussie Coin Hunt release.

The coin's obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2019 year-date and the monetary denomination.

Fixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1 N is for Neighbours which is post marked First Day of Issue and the envelope includes Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
