The set commemorates the Centenary of Federation and includes six uncirculated coins: Two dollars, the commemorative "Centenary of Federation logo" Coloured One dollar, the commemorative "Coat of Arms" Coloured Fifty cents, Twenty cents, Ten cents, and Five cents

This set includes a colourized dollar and fifty cent coin. The dollar features a simplified map of Australia in blue ink with the Federation Star in red in the field to right with the legend: CENTENARY OF 1901 2001 ONE DOLLAR FEDERATION. 

The fifty cent has a coloured set of Australian Arms set on a matt background over a highly polished exergue containing the denomination numerals 50.

All coins are struck with mirror fields and matt relief.
