2018 $2 Lest We Forget - Eternal Flame Mint Roll

The Royal Australian Mint continues its tradition of releasing coloured $2 coins into circulation during the Anzac Centenary period to commemorate the 102 000 Australians who have died in war and other operations since 1885.

This striking and evocative design is inspired by the eternal flame at the Australian War Memorial, which symbolises remembrance and sacrifice.

FEATURES AND DESIGN
• Coin’s obverse features an artistic depiction of an aerial view of the Australian War Memorial’s Eternal Flame
• Released to coincide with Anzac Day 2018
• Coin’s obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley
• Twenty-five coins per roll. These rolls have been released by the Royal Australian Mint.
• Australian legal tender
