2007 Year of the Lifesaver 6 Coin Proof Set

The Royal Australian Mint released this proof year set as a tribute to the icon of Australian beaches. The Surf lifesaving organisation has over 113,000 members and saves over 500,000 lives around Australia.

The set includes a special one dollar coin featuring a spectacular image of a team rescue. The coin was not released for general circulation.
